“CARMEN”

This collection comprises of photos I was commissioned to shoot for various events related to the re-imagining of the score to the 80s film. Starting in 2017, these events encompassed two different recording sessions of the film’s original all-synth score being performed by an orchestra for the first time, all leading up to the "Live to Film" concert held in 2018. The second recording session was for recording the parts famed composer Bear McCreary would record separately on his hurdy-gurdy instruments and accordion that would be laid in over the orchestral recordings.
